To Be, Or Not To Be, A Myth Lord
Our members are the heart and soul of the guild. The Myth Lords is filled with friendly hard-working folks that take a lot of pride in their guild tag. Each time we add a new member to our guild, we are changing the makeup of our guild. We have matured and advanced as a guild much further than any of us ever expected or hoped for. Being a Myth Lord defines a style of play, not a point in progression in the game.
Our goal for this membership policy is to help us find and identify players with play styles similar to ours. We want our members to be playing with family, friends and in game friends; therefore our membership process is a relationship driven policy.
Myth Lords and Tunare's Benevolance have built a strong alliance with each other over the years. Everything we do involves Tunare's Benevolance. We are currently raiding in the Demi Plane of Blood and in the Citadel of Anguish.
We have an applicant guild called Myth Seekers. Your time as an applicant will be spent wearing our Myth Seekers guild tag. The goal of our application process is to provide you with an opportunity to get to know our members and to enable members of Myth Lords to get to know you. Once your appliaction is submitted and approved, you will be immediately tagged in Myth Seekers.
You will need to be unguilded for two weeks prior to applying to Myth Lords. You are also expected to have all of your characters unguilded the two weeks prior to applying.
The Application Process
Becoming a Myth Lord is not as hard as you might think. We are not worried about your gear, your level or how many AAs you have. We are more interested in getting to know you and base your membership on that, not strictly on your character. Basically, if you want to be a Myth Lord, you will be a Myth Lord. You will start off in Myth Seekers grouping or raiding with us and acquiring a few sponsors. After two months, a general poll of the members is taken and you become a full member of Myth Lords.
If it becomes apparent during the process we are not a good fit for you, for example, schedule conflicts, personality conflicts, etc, you will be consulted to see if we can work out a solution. If our differences are insurmountable, then you would be released from the application process.
If you wish to apply to the Myth Lords, please send a PM to Vadmir or Hanabel with the following information:
--name, level and class of your main character
--names of any alts you actively play and their class/level
--player history
--guild history
--progress with AAs
--progress with any flagging
--why you wish to become a Myth Lord
Sponsors
In order to advance through the application process, you will need to acquire four sponsors. When you have been with Myth Seekers for two months and have four sponsors, a poll will be conducted within the Myth Lords to see if it is time to promote you to membership with the Myth Lords. If you do not obtain four sponsors within two months, the poll will be conducted once you do.
A sponsor remains a sponsor until they either withdraw sponsorship, or the player becomes a full member. Only active members can become sponsors. Members may sponsor two applicants, however can only function as the main sponsor for one applicant. The sponsor will need to keep their sponsoree informed. Sponsors will communicate with the guild leader their opinions and the satus of the sponsoree.
Inactivity and Low Attendance
If you are inactive for 28 consecutive days without informing the guild prior, you will be dropped from the application process, but can retain your guild tag with Myth Seekers. The application process would resume when you return to the game.
Requirements for the Myth Seekers
--Player time: You must have played on a regular basis for 30 days prior to making application.
--Level: Your main character must be level 40, no AAs required.
--Additional: Officer Approval
You will have access to the Myth Lords chat channel as well as the Friends Forum.
Requirements to Raid
If you wish to raid with the Myth Lords, your character should meet the following:
--you must be guilded with the Myth Seekers
--you need to be level 70 with 200 AAs or level 75 with 100 AAs
--you will need to have your Anguish signets completed and be working on access to Dreadspire Keep.
--Spells: Cleric, Druid, Paladin and Shaman must have the spell Remove Greater Curse. A clickie item with this spell on it will not satisfy this requirement.
--Additional: Officer approval
Alternative Guest Pass: Occasionally, old friends will want to raid with us with no desire to pursue membership. Raid passes will be available to these players at the discretion of the Officers.
Family Members: Spouses and children of full members of Myth Lords, regardless of the level of their characters, may be tagged with Myth Lords.
Special Guild Needs: At any time, the Guild Leader can exercise his or her right to Fast Track somebody based upon the needs of the guild.
